We are looking for a Web-Development engineer with knowledge and skills in building interactive interfaces using modern JavaScript tooling like React, Angular, etc. We want someone who can work well in a heterogeneous environment of different languages and technologies, and can bring flexibility, speed and quality to our team. You should be genuinely excited about technology, have interest in learning about and playing with the latest technologies and building compelling web applications and UI.

Basic Qualifications

• BS degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience creating and managing web-based applications
• Experience guiding or managing user research and usability testing
• Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
• Knowledge of AWS Infrastructure
• Proficiency in modern web development including HTML5, CSS, and Javascript frameworks (Angular JS, React, etc.)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment and to learn new frameworks/stacks
• Self-directed and capable of quickly shipping code in a dynamic environment
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, unit testing, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Experience translating design mockups, prototypes and user stories into working applications
• Understanding of web services technologies such as REST, SOAP, HTTP, JSON
• Strong customer focus, ownership, urgency, and drive
• Experience in development best practices including Agile development, peer code reviews and unit testing.
• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.
