Lead with Purpose, Unlock Your Team’s Passion

At LPL, people leaders hold the key to the employee experience — shaping culture, driving performance, and guiding individuals to new heights. Because when that happens, we all win – clients, LPL, and most importantly our, employees.

If youre ready to lead with intention and discover what’s possible, LPL Financial invites you to apply today.

Big cloud programs live or die on coordination — and LPLs Cloud Center of Excellence runs a lot of them across two continents. As VP, PMO, youll lead the CCOE program-management function and the India-based team of project managers and scrum masters who keep delivery moving across the five CCOE teams. If youre a people-first delivery leader who can turn a portfolio of overseas work into predictable outcomes, this is your seat.

Job Overview:

As the VP, PMO, you lead the program-management function for LPLs Cloud Center of Excellence (CCOE) and manage the team of project managers and scrum masters — primarily based in the India Global Capability Center (GCC) — who support the five CCOE teams (Foundations, Platforms, Containers, Support, Delivery). You are the single point of accountability for coordinating CCOE projects and tasks executed in the India GCC, and you drive intake, prioritization, milestone tracking, and risk / dependency management across the portfolio. You partner with the enterprise EPMO / RTE on program-level cadence and with the VPs leading the CCOE teams to align commitments and balance capacity across LPLs US offices and India. This is a people-leadership and delivery role — not an engineering or on-call role — focused on growing a high-performing PMO and making CCOE delivery predictable.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and grow the India-based PMO as a high-performing, cohesive team that the CCOE teams trust to run their projects — the delivery backbone for work executed overseas
  • Champion agentic AI in program management: AI-assisted status synthesis and executive reporting, automated risk and dependency surfacing from Jira, and meeting-notes-to-action items — modeling AI-forward delivery for the PMO team
  • Lead the CCOE program-management function: manage a team of project managers and scrum masters supporting the five CCOE teams across LPLs US offices and India Global Capability Center (GCC)
  • Own all people-management responsibilities for the PMO team: hiring, onboarding, weekly 1:1s, performance management, career development, and capacity planning
  • Serve as the single point of accountability for coordinating CCOE projects and tasks executed in the India GCC — planning, sequencing, and reporting status across overseas delivery
  • Drive program and project delivery across the CCOE portfolio: intake, prioritization, milestone tracking, and risk / issue / dependency management with clear executive status
  • Partner with the enterprise EPMO / RTE on program-level cadence: program increment planning, release-train events, and portfolio reporting
  • Standardize PMO practice across CCOE: Jira and Confluence hygiene, reporting dashboards, delivery metrics (predictability, throughput, cycle time), and continuous improvement
  • Partner with the VPs leading the five CCOE teams and the Foundations pods to align delivery commitments, remove cross-team blockers, and balance capacity across the US and India

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for strong collaborators who deliver exceptional client experiences and thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments. Our ideal candidates pursue greatness, act with integrity, and are driven to help our clients succeed. We value those who embrace creativity, continuous improvement, and contribute to a culture where we win together and create and share joy in our work.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years in program / project management including 4+ years directly managing a team of project managers and/or scrum masters; Bachelors degree (or equivalent work experience)
  • Demonstrated experience as a people manager — hiring, performance management, and career development — of a delivery / PMO team, preferably including an India GCC / offshore team
  • Strong program-management discipline across a technical portfolio: intake, prioritization, milestone / risk / dependency management, and executive reporting in Jira and Confluence
  • Experience partnering with an enterprise EPMO / RTE on program-level events and portfolio reporting (scaled-Agile experience preferred)
  • Experience coordinating delivery across US and India / GCC time zones in a fast-paced, regulated environment (financial services preferred)

Core Competencies:

  • Servant-leader people manager who grows project managers and scrum masters
  • Calm under delivery pressure; drives clarity across many concurrent projects
  • Excellent executive communicator who makes portfolio status and risk legible to senior leaders
  • Data-driven on delivery health (predictability, throughput, cycle time) — reports early and honestly
  • Skilled at cross-time-zone coordination between the US and India / GCC
  • Bias for pragmatic process that accelerates delivery, not process for its own sake
  • Builds high-trust relationships across CCOE engineering leadership, the enterprise EPMO, and vendor partners

Preferences:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP)
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM / PSM) or SAFe (SSM, SPC)
  • Masters degree or MBA
  • Experience managing program delivery for cloud, infrastructure, or platform-engineering programs
  • Atlassian admin experience across Jira, Jira Advanced Roadmaps, and Confluence
  • Experience using agentic AI / GenAI tooling (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, Bedrock, MCP) for program reporting, status synthesis, and risk surfacing
  • Experience building and leading offshore / GCC delivery teams
