JOB PURPOSE

• Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking a highly creative and meticulous Software Engineer III, who will be responsible for all design requirements for our leader communications.  
• Associate will report to Manager – Communications and must understand the design process, liaising with multiple stakeholders to understand the brief and deliver all in-house design requirements, apart from coordinating with external agencies to ensure brand guidelines are followed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Demonstrates maturity and deep expertise in AWS, Azure, and GCP, along with the associated technology stacks.
•  Leads the use of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform and Ansible to automate cloud setup and management
• Articulates advanced multi-cloud infrastructure strategies across Compute, Storage, Networking, Backups, Disaster Recovery (DR), and Monitoring.
• Leads and influences cross-functional teams—including application, platform, security, data, operations, and infrastructure—through transformative cloud initiatives.
• Creates and reviews technical and functional specifications for development efforts, ensuring successful end-to-end execution.
• Conducts technical design reviews and code reviews, with a focus on cloud-native architecture and integrations across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Leads the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices, ensuring compliance and consistency in application release and deployment.
• Collaborates with enterprise teams to deliver work products that support digital transformation, guiding assigned product and solution teams.
• Interfaces with software vendors, application teams, and infrastructure groups to ensure seamless support and integration.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, and drives cross-team initiatives with clarity and purpose.
• Ensures operational documentation (e.g., Runbooks) is complete and drives architectural best practices across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor-level degree in engineering, IT, data communications, telecommunications, computer science, or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications.

EXPERIENCE

• 3–7 years of experience across Multi-cloud (AWS, Azure,Google ) and private cloud environments. skilled in Terraform (3+ years) and familiar with Ansible for automation. Strong understanding of product development, business operations, and hands-on expertise with key tools and technologies
• 2-4 -years’ experience in architecting DevOps- based CI/CD deployment pipelines required
• 2-4 years of experience with Source Code Management and branching usage required.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Production experience in large environments using automation and configuration management tools like Terraform, Ansible and Cloud Deployment Manager required.
