Identity and Access Management (IAM) in India will lead a dedicated team responsible for managing and securing user identities and access rights for our US and Global operations. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in IAM strategies and technologies and will be tasked with executing an effective IAM framework to protect our information assets. This role will be responsible for working in collaboration with all disciplines across the information technology groups, as well as business units, in providing hands-on and working on plans for the integration of information security requirements into solutions provided in the area of Identity & Access Management.
Role and Responsibilities:
Develop and integrate IAM strategies that align with Broadridges US operations goals and security policies.
Oversee the deployment and management of IAM solutions, ensuring efficient user lifecycle management, privileged access management, and identity governance administration.
Lead and mentor an IAM team based in India, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Collaborate with US-based IT, security, and business teams to incorporate IAM best practices into both extant and forthcoming applications and systems.
Develop, document, and enforce IAM policies and governance to ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements.
Provide operational “follow-the-sun” support for the IAM infrastructure, ensuring minimal disruption and rapid incident response.
Produce regular IAM performance metrics and reports, highlighting enhancements, risks, and compliance statuses.
Keep abreast of the latest IAM technologies and trends to inform and guide continuous improvement efforts.
Act as a point of contact for IAM-related audits and compliance assessments, collaborating with both internal and external auditors as necessary.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or Technology related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Identity and Access Management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Comprehensive understanding of IAM technologies such as SSO, MFA, LDAP, SAML, and OAuth, and experience with IAM tools/platforms.
Proven capability in managing and developing a high-performance technical team across international boundaries.
Excellent analytical skills, with a track record of strategic IAM project delivery.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage and influence stakeholders across various regions.
Familiarity with US compliance standards such as SOX, HIPAA, and others is an advantage.
Certification in cybersecurity or IAM (such as CISSP, CIAM, or CISM) strongly preferred
