Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Workday Integrations Specialist to join our HR IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Workday integrations with third-party applications, as well as Workday-related developments and configurations. This role requires an individual who is eager to learn about the broader HR landscape and will provide oversight from an IT perspective for various applications, collaborating with HR stakeholders and IT team members.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain integrations between Workday and other third-party applications, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
- Oversee the administration, configuration, and troubleshooting of Workday modules, ensuring they meet business needs and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with HR stakeholders to understand their needs within the Workday ecosystem and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight in Workday-related projects and initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Workday and integrations with other applications.
- Stay updated on Workday features, releases, and best practices.
- Work collaboratively with IT teams to ensure the smooth functioning of all HR applications within the organization.
- Assist in auditing existing configurations and identifying areas for improvement
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Human Resources, or a related field
- 7-9 years of hands-on experience with Workday, particularly in integrations and configuration.
- Proven experience working with various HR functional areas and understanding their systems and processes.
- Strong knowledge of integration tools, data mapping, and ETL processes.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to learning about various HR applications and their interconnections
Skill Requirements
- Proficiency in Workday modules (HCM, Payroll, Benefits) and integration tools (Workday Studio, EIB).
- Expertise in developing and maintaining integrations with third-party applications and knowledge of XML, XSLT, and REST APIs.
- Strong data management skills for ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Analytical problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Openness to learn about new Workday features and the broader HR landscape.
- Attention to detail for accurate configurations and reporting.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively within diverse teams.
- Workday certification preferred
