Position Description

Quality Assurance Lead

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Lead with 6 years of strong Test Automation tools like Selenium and banking domain expertise. This role will bridge business and technology teams, ensuring clear requirements, high-quality delivery, and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating and executing manual tests as well as automating tests in Selenium
• Coordinating with the team and performing status reporting, as and when required.
• Training and coaching new team members on the API testing, Selenium automation and project-related knowledge topics
• Engaging with other stakeholders like developers, data analysts, business analysts and scrum master(s).
• Making informed decisions on testing approaches and strategies and proactively communicating that with the stakeholders.
• Preparing and reviewing test strategy documents, test summary reports etc
• Performing root cause analysis independently and triaging defects with development team.
• Ensuring that software meets or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements.
• Communication with clients and different levels of the organization
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Over 6 years of experience working as a quality engineer in an Agile team.
• 4+ years of test experience with use of Selenium for automation. – Must be very strong in Selenium
• Experience with DevOps
• Experience in managing code repositories and versions using Azure DevOps, GIT or SVN.
• 3+ years of experience developing, maintaining & executing automated regression tests for web and backend applications.
• 3+ years of experience writing SQL scripts.
• Should have exposure to in-sprint automation
• Should have experience in GUI and API testing.
• Karate framework experience is good to have.
• Good exposure to agile testing process.
• Should have excellent communication skill to interact with BSAs and LOB and ability to lead the team and drive innovations.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications (Nice To Have)

• Strong SQL skills with experience in writing and validating queries
• Exposure to in-sprint automation
