Description
The Sr. Product Manager-Tech on the DSP-DA LifeCycle Management (DALCM) team owns the end-to-end product strategy and execution for the critical milestones in the Delivery Service Partner (DSP) Delivery Associate (DA) lifecycle, including onboarding, off-boarding, qualifications management, and status management across Amazon's global transportation network. The DSP program is the backbone of Amazon's last-mile delivery network, operating in 22 countries with over 4,400 DSPs and 390,000+ Delivery Associates.
This role is responsible for customer experiences with considerable complexity, managing a unified data platform that serves as the single source of truth for associate information. This includes ownership of multiple concurrent product workstreams — DSP DA onboarding/off-boarding workflow, DSP onboarding/off-boarding experience, employment classification models, qualifications management, and DA data/metadata services — each requiring distinct technical approaches and stakeholder alignment. The Sr. Product Manager-Tech is responsible for driving strategic goals that span multi-million dollar cost savings, DSP satisfaction (CSAT), and DA sentiment — influencing the DA experience from the very first interaction with Amazon's systems. You will own the financial entitlement for your product area and be accountable for measurable improvements in onboarding speed, compliance automation, and operational efficiency for DSPs worldwide.
We are in the early stages of a multi-year initiative to overhaul much of the DA lifecycle experience from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to invent and simplify at scale — redesigning foundational systems and workflows that touch hundreds of thousands of drivers globally. The role comes with significant investment backing and outsized influence in shaping what the next-generation experience looks like.
This is a global role requiring cross-regional coordination across all regions where the DSP program is established or will be established, each with distinct compliance requirements, legal frameworks, hiring models, and payment structures. The role requires distinguishing between one-way and two-way door decisions to drive rapid experimentation where possible while ensuring appropriate rigor for irreversible choices. The Sr. Product Manager-Tech serves as Voice of the Customer by generalizing requirements from diverse DSP DA personas across regions and use cases — working backward from their needs to reduce friction and time spent in onboarding and offboarding phases. Through direct engagement with DSPs, analysis of support tickets, and monitoring of operational health post-launch, the Sr. Product Manager-Tech gains insight that distinguishes between surface-level requests and underlying problems that truly matter. The Sr. Product Manager-Tech regularly drives product discussions with senior managers and Directors, producing clear documentation and contributing to OP1/OP2 planning cycles.
We are seeking a PM with expertise and high judgment to determine the right goals, design long-term solutions, and take the lead on initiatives independently while seeking direction when needed. This role operates in a space where problems, opportunities, and strategy are not always clearly defined, and the right candidate will thrive in that ambiguity.
