Sr Integration Engineer

Job Description Summary

Develop ETL Workflows for System Integration. Collaborate with a larger software engineering team to design and develop software for GE Digitals while working in an agile development environment, building state of the art software solutions.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

• Familiarity with ETL concepts, data integration, and data transformation
  
  
• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining data integrations and ETL workflows using Dell Boomi
  
  
• Work closely with the team to understand data requirements and ensure data accuracy, quality, and accessibility
  
  
• Develop, test, and deploy integration processes to transfer data between internal and external systems
  
  
• Support the monitoring and troubleshooting of existing integrations, identifying issues and implementing solutions
  
  
• Document integration processes, data mapping, and any system modifications
  
  
• Participate in team meetings to understand project requirements and contribute to design discussions
  
  
• Understanding of relational databases and SQL, Functions etc
  
  
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  
  
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  
  
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and best practices
  
  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
  
  
• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience
  
  

• Need some ETL Development Expertise with SAP Integration using Boomi
  
  
• Strong Scripting knowledge using Groovy and/or JavaScript is a plus
  
  
• Basic knowledge of web services (REST/SOAP), APIs, JSON, and XML
  
  
• Understanding of Databricks is an additional plus
  
  
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus
  
  
• Some knowledge in a programming language like .Net or Java.
  
  
• Understand the Database Concepts of SQL, PS/SQL, Views, Stored procedures, Scripts and optimization techniques to support application development.
  
  
• Understanding of Application performance tuning and troubleshooting
  
  
• SAP RFC and API Connector understanding is a plus
  
  
• Experience in Agile Scrum and Waterfall methodology
  
  

• Has the ability to break down problems and estimate time for development tasks
  
  
• Has the ability to make basic technology choices based on experience
  
  
• Demonstrates awareness about competitors and industry
