Key Responsibilities
Business Process Leadership
- Lead process discovery, fit-to-standard workshops and solution design for one or more domains: Order-to-Cash (SD), Procure-to-Pay (MM), Finance (FI/CO), Manufacturing (PP), and Enterprise Master Data.
- Create and maintain E2E process maps, RACI, and functional designs aligned to business outcomes and compliance (e.g., SoD, audit readiness).
- Drive continuous improvement using standard S/4 capabilities, avoiding customizations unless clearly justified.
SAP S/4HANA Configuration (SPRO)
- Perform IMG/SPRO configuration for some scenarios—pricing, output/BRF+, document types, account determination, partner functions, ATP, MRP, purchasing/PO release strategies, FI postings, cost objects, etc.
- Own configuration transport lifecycle (Dev → QA → Prod): maintain configuration guides (BC sets where applicable), assess transport dependencies/conflicts, and coordinate cutovers.
- Define master data design & governance rules (materials, customers/vendors BP, condition records), collaborating closely with Enterprise Master Data teams.
Delivery & Quality
- Produce functional specifications for RICEFW objects (Reports, Integrations, Conversions, Extensions, Forms/Output, Workflows).
- Author and execute test assets (unit, SIT, UAT), manage defects, and ensure traceability to business requirements.
- Support data migration (mock loads, validation rules, reconciliation) and hypercare post go-live.
Integration & Controls
- Partner with Basis/Integration teams on interfaces.
- Ensure documentation (BRD, FSD, Config docs, Test scripts, Work Instructions) is audit-ready and kept current.
- Monitor system performance and usage KPIs and recommend targeted improvements.
