What You Will Do

Lets do this! Lets change the world. Play a vital role and be part of the web team, which provides end-to-end digital solutions and hosting for global websites enabling Amgen brands to engage with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and our patients. The team provides an innovative web technology platform hosted in the cloud and ensures compliances and security features across our websites. You will be part of Amgens Global Commercial Client Facing Web Technology Team .

  • Develop Adobe AEM Sites components, templates, dialogs, workflows, and related features that support enhancement work across the AEM as a Cloud Service platform.
  • Extend AEM capabilities by integrating with internal and external systems using REST APIs, service classes, and standard AEM extension points within the cloud based architecture.
  • Own, process, and deliver AmgenNow requests, incidents, access requests, DNS submissions, and deployment related activities, ensuring all operational tasks are completed accurately and within SLA commitments.
  • Monitor AEM as a Cloud Service environments for system health, performance, and stability, using approved tools and scripts for maintenance, patching coordination, and operational support.
  • Troubleshoot issues across the AEM stack including author, publish, and dispatcher layers, collaborating with senior engineers and platform teams as needed.
  • Support caching, dispatcher rules, DNS changes, and environment level updates to maintain responsive and reliable AEM website performance.
  • Follow established development and operational processes, identifying opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and consistency in AEM related delivery.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies as needed, sharing updates, raising blockers, and collaborating with the team when involvement is required for planning or delivery.

Basic Qualifications:

Masters degree

OR

Bachelors degree and 2 years of Information Science experience

OR

Associates degree and 6 years of Information Science experience

|Or

High school diploma / GED and 8 years of Information Science experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing Adobe AEM Sites components, templates, dialogs, client libraries, and basic workflows, with an understanding of core AEM concepts.
  • Good knowledge of client side development, including CSS, JavaScript, and HTML, and the ability to apply these within AEM components.
  • Familiarity with backend development using Java and standard frameworks used to extend AEM functionality.
  • Ability to work with REST APIs and handle JSON and XML in support of integrations with AEM components or services.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS is a plus.
  • Experience using scripting languages like PowerShell or Python for simple automation and operational tasks.
  • Understanding of SDLC fundamentals, version control practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Basic familiarity with API management or integration concepts, such as MuleSoft or similar technologies.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and end users.
  • Experience with GenAI tools such as ChatGPT for automation.
  • Certification in Adobe Experience Manager is a plus.
