Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate – Data Management with 5-9 years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM), Data Stewardship, and Data Governance. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Reltio MDM, Informatica MDM, SQL, and Python, and will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, governance, and integrity of enterprise master data across business domains.

This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, data stewards, data engineers, and application teams to support data governance processes, data quality initiatives, and MDM platform operations while driving continuous improvement in enterprise data management practices.

Key Responsibilities

Master Data Management & Stewardship

• Manage and govern enterprise master data across domains such as Customer, Product, Organization, Affiliations, and Reference Data.
• Perform day-to-day data stewardship activities including data validation, enrichment, hierarchy management, match/merge review, and record reconciliation.
• Configure and support MDM capabilities within Informatica MDM and/or Reltio platforms.
• Review and resolve potential duplicates, survivorship conflicts, and data quality exceptions.
• Execute and monitor Data Change Requests (DCRs) while ensuring adherence to established SLAs and governance processes.
  
  

• Develop and implement data quality rules, validation checks, and monitoring processes.
• Perform data profiling, data analysis, and root cause investigations for data quality issues.
• Support enterprise data governance initiatives, data standards, business glossary, and metadata management activities.
• Maintain data lineage, stewardship documentation, SOPs, and operational playbooks.
• Collaborate with governance teams to ensure compliance with enterprise data policies.
  
  

• Write and optimize SQL queries for data analysis, reconciliation, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Develop Python scripts for data quality automation, data transformation, and operational efficiency improvements.
• Support MDM integrations and data exchange processes between source and downstream systems.
• Analyze master data trends, identify anomalies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Participate in system testing, UAT, and release validation activities.
  
  

• Partner with business users, commercial teams, data engineers, and application owners to understand data requirements.
• Provide data stewardship guidance and support to business stakeholders.
• Participate in governance forums, data quality reviews, and operational meetings.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality and stewardship effectiveness.
  
  

• Master’s Degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience, OR
• Bachelor’s Degree with 5-8 years of relevant experience, OR
• Diploma with 8-10 years of relevant experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Management, or related disciplines.
  
  

• 5-8 years of experience in Master Data Management and Data Stewardship.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Reltio MDM
• Informatica MDM
• Strong understanding of:
• Data Governance
• Data Quality Management
• Data Stewardship processes
• Match/Merge and Survivorship concepts
• Hierarchy and Reference Data Management
• Advanced SQL querying and data analysis skills.
• Python scripting experience for automation and data processing.
• Experience performing data profiling, data reconciliation, and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of Data Change Request (DCR) workflows and governance processes.
• Strong understanding of customer master data concepts (HCP, HCO, Affiliations, etc.).
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  
  

• Informatica IDQ experience.
• Databricks and PySpark exposure.
• Cloud experience (AWS/Azure).
• Experience with data cataloging and metadata management tools.
• Experience working with external data providers such as D&B or address validation solutions.
• Life Sciences, Healthcare, or Pharmaceutical domain experience.

• Reltio Certification
• SQL Certification
• AWS or Azure Cloud Certification
• Data Governance / Data Management Certification (DAMA/CDMP preferred)
