Position Overview

We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to oversee our Shared Services Finance team. This role will be responsible for driving end-to-end activities, ensuring accuracy of financial reporting, and leading finance operations with a strong focus on compliance, efficiency, and process improvement. As a senior Accountant, oversee the month-close process, and play a key role in ERP implementation and optimization (NetSuite).

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate and work closely with the finance team across multiple F&A functions within Shared Services.
• Oversee month-close activities, including scheduling, review of reports, and accuracy of financial statements.
• Prepare & Review journal entries (routine and non-routine, including tax adjustments).
• Ensure compliance with controllership requirements and accounting standards.
• Drive NetSuite implementation projects with hands-on involvement in system setup, workflows, and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support audit readiness and compliance.
• Provide financial leadership by analyzing results, preparing variance reports, and supporting strategic decisions.
• Collaborate, Mentor and coach team members to build capability, engagement, and growth within the team.
  
  

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce (B. Com); CA Inter or CPA (in progress) preferred.
• 6-8 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, with strong exposure to controllership, month-close, and ERP systems.
• Proven experience in working with finance teams in a MNC Shared Services or corporate environment.
• Expertise in journal entry review, reconciliations, non-routine entries, and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on expertise with NetSuite implementation (mandatory).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with NetSuite (NS) as the primary ERP system.
• Exposure to MS Dynamics, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Experience working in Shared Services or professional services firms.
