Role Overview

As a Software Engineer specializing in Kinaxis Maestro, your main job is to configure and implement the software to meet specific business needs. This means turning business requirements into clear software specifications while ensuring high quality and timely delivery. You will be key in customizing Kinaxis Maestro to improve supply chain management processes, using your technical skills and working closely with various stakeholders.

What Will You Do In This Role

  • Configure and implement Kinaxis Maestro software based on business specifications, ensuring high-quality solutions that align with user stories and project deadlines. Translate business requirements into detailed software specifications, leveraging insights from supply chain trends and best practices.
  • Lead data management and integration initiatives, including data transformation, loading into Maestro, and data cleanup. Oversee Quality Control/Quality Assurance processes, such as user acceptance testing (UAT), and gather user feedback to enhance future implementations.
  • Provide technical support to end users, resolving complex issues and serving as an escalation point. Conduct training sessions to ensure users understand the Maestro solution and its configuration.
  • Document issues through support cases, collaborate with Kinaxis Customer Support for resolutions, and update solution documentation to drive process improvements.
  • Participate in deployment workshops to guide and train end users on the Maestro solutions configuration, providing ongoing support during the testing phase to ensure effective integration with supply chain management practices.

What Should You Have

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
  • 5 years of experience with supply chain processes and manufacturing planning solutions, specifically Kinaxis Maestro (formerly RapidResponse).
  • 3-5 years of experience in software implementations or deployments within supply chain planning modules, including Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Management, and Production Planning and Scheduling.
  • Proven experience applying supply chain concepts to forecasting, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Constraint Management, and Production Scheduling.
  • Proficiency in Python and JavaScript, with a focus on using these languages for data integration and orchestration to optimize workflows and enhance data processing efficiency.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and release management techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling and data architecture principles.
