McDonald’s has an exciting opportunity for a Specialist, Financial Systems – EPBCS. This role supports the day-to-day operations of McDonald’s Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS), a critical platform for financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting. The Specialist assists with system configuration, testing, and documentation to ensure planning processes are accurate, efficient, and aligned with enterprise standards. This position reports to the Manager, Financial Systems – EPBCS and plays a key role in enabling data-driven planning across the finance organization. 

The candidate is expected to reside in Hyderabad, India.

Duties

  • Support the execution of system enhancements and updates for EPBCS. 
  • Assist in gathering and documenting technical and functional requirements for planning and budgeting workflows. 
  • Provide support for deployment activities, including implementation, execution, and adoption of EPBCS solutions. 
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and configuration efforts to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements. 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve system issues and provide guidance on EPBCS usage. 
  • Maintain documentation and support materials for EPBCS users across global markets. 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning accuracy, data integrity, and user experience. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field 
  • Certifications in EPBCS, Oracle Cloud, or planning systems are a plus 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance systems or planning operations 
  • English Proficiency (written and verbal IRL Level 4) 
  • Basic understanding of financial planning and budgeting workflows 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy 
  • Effective communicator with ability to support diverse user groups 
  • Experience supporting system testing, documentation, and deployment 
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and escalate issues appropriately
