Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with 11 years of experience to join the Data and Analytics Engineering (D&AE) operational effectiveness team.

Responsibilities

• Tis is a development role that will be utilizing Generative AI automation opportunities to remove any manual effort. This role also has a production support component for a small portion of older systems.
• Perform root cause failure analysis for production system and provide short/long term resolution.
• Work with business partners to resolve defects identified in a timely manner.
• Understand the requirements and use cases provided.
• Create enterprise Generative AI solutions to reduce the human interactons for systems operations tasks. Then share the solutions enterprise wide.
• Partner with other teams and stakeholders for any clarifications needed for the timely deliverables.
• Experienced with agile methodology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the related field.
• 5-8 years of experience as a Developer and exposed to Distriburted Systems and Operational roles. Proven experience in Software Development Life Cycle. This is not a Data Science position.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, or operating Generative AI (GenAI) solutions in an enterprise environment. Including building agent tools supporting autonomus operations.
• Experiences using Copilot studio across the Microsoft suite and code repositories. Likewise

proven skills using Cursor AI.

• 4+ years of Python programing.
• 5+ years of SQL experience.
• Familarity in SAS language and shell scripting.
• Experience with data pipeline deployment pipeline technologies like Jenkins, or GitHub
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools like GitHub, Jenkins etc.
• Experiences in relational databases(ie Oracle/DB2 etc), and DataStage is a big plus
• Experience with MS Office suite, Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details.
• Experience with AWS services a plus… (ie EC2, S3, Cloud Watch, StepFunctions, Lambdas, MWAA, SQS, SNS, Glue, Athena, Databricks etc).

Location & Hours of Work
