We invite a dynamic and ambitious Software Engineer to join our Information Technology team located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. This role is integral in maintaining flawless operation, scalability, resilience, and continuous improvement across our technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Build a good understanding of customer and business needs along with products & associated features under mentorship.
• Develop high-quality code following established engineering practices, ensuring timely delivery. Participate in pairing, mobbing, and peer review.
• Develop application code for programs while ensuring compliance with established controls, policies, regulations, and other applicable non-functional requirements.
• Build and leverage automation and testing practices to support complete test pyramid and resolve defects.
• Proactively monitor and provide support & maintenance to the product as per the established support agreement.
• Understand all layers of software development: runtime environments, database, APIs, UI/UX, QA/automated testing, and security concerns throughout the program.
• Participate in building cloud-native solutions and/or migrating existing applications on cloud infrastructure.
• Actively engage in training, self-development, and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed on internal and external technology trends.
• Apply DevOps methods and tools effectively.
• Look for improvement opportunities beyond stated problems and propose solutions by collaborating, bringing to bear standard methodologies, and making use of available data.
• Exhibit an agile approach and take part in scrum or similar ceremonies relevant to the chosen implementation framework.
• Develop a grasp of the foundational product, architecture, and principal structural decisions to comprehend ‘why’ and engage in technical problem-solving of features to better understand ‘how’.
• Develop an understanding of the organization’s strategy, key high-level initiatives, and describe how your work aligns with the operational plans with support from your leader.
• Perform other job-related duties and special projects/proof of concepts as required.
• Actively participate in organizational and team-level initiatives.
• Adhere strictly to Principal Information Security Policy and compliance requirements.
  
  

• 1.5 year to 3 years of experience.
• Practical experience in Microservices development and Cloud computing concepts.
• Knowledge of AWS Platform and services like EC2, Lambda, CDK, Cloudwatch, IAM, S3, API Gateways.
• Experience with any cloud database is required.
• Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) via AWS CDK is required.
• Practical development experience in Typescript within an AWS environment is a plus.
• Good knowledge of OOPs concepts & principles.
• Experience in Core Java & JEE.
• Experience with Java Web frameworks such as Spring MVC and Spring Boot, as well as familiarity with Java persistence frameworks, is an advantage.
• Experience building REST services.
• Developing test cases using JUnit, Mockito, etc.
• Familiarity with application servers (Websphere/Tomcat/Liberty).
• Proficiency in IDEs (like RAD/Eclipse/IntelliJ/Visual Studio Code).
• Knowledge of markup languages (like XML/JSON).
• Understanding of versioning tools & branching strategies (GIT/SVN, Github, Bitbucket).
• Knowledge of CI & build tools like Jenkins, Maven, Github Actions.
• Database concepts & SQL (using RDBMS like DB2/Oracle).
• Knowledge of SDLC (Agile, SAFe).
• Proficiency with API testing tools like Postman, Insomnia.
