Job Description

Our client is looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer to join our team and help design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade applications and services. You will work on cloud-native, containerized systems, implement scalable data models, and ensure high-quality, observable software systems. This role is ideal for engineers with a strong technical foundation in Java, cloud platforms, databases, and modern DevOps practices, who enjoy solving complex backend challenges in a collaborative environment

Required Technical Skills

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in the software development lifecycle
• Experience in building applications and services using Java
• Proficiency in system design and architecting software systems
• Experience in leading data modeling and storage design using database technologies (NoSQL, SQL, Object Storage, etc.)
• Required experience in developing software applications and services on cloud platforms, such as AWS
• Experience in developing containerized applications using Docker or similar technologies
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
• Hands-on experience with observability platforms (Datadog, ELK, Splunk, AWS Cloud watch)
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR) is a plus
