Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable back-end services and REST APIs using modern programming languages (e.g., React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python/Java)
• Integrate AI capabilities (e.g., natural language processing, large language models) into production applications
• Ensure services are reliable, secure, and performant in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Contribute to full-stack development when needed, including front-end work with React
• Learn and adapt as our technology stack evolves
• Collaborate with data scientists to translate AI models into user-facing features and with product managers to define requirements
• Write comprehensive automated tests and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript for front-end development
• Experience building REST API services with Node.js
• Proficiency with continuous integration practices
• Experience with modern SPA architectures and cloud-based deployment (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Understanding of API-based architectures, REST, and modern software engineering practices (e.g., CI/CD, testing, code reviews, agile methodologies)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with intellectual curiosity
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across both technical and non-technical teams
  
  

Preferred

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or other technical degree and 1 years of software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or other technical degree and 2 years of experience developing recruiting software or 3 years of software engineering experience.
