Software Engineer – Java Full Stack (Java, Angular, AWS)

Required Experience

• 8-10 years of hands-on software development experience.
• 5+ years developing enterprise applications using Java technologies.
• 3+ years building cloud-native applications on AWS.
• 3+ years developing modern web applications using Angular.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  
  

Technical Skills

Backend Development

• Strong proficiency in Java 11/17+.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
• Experience with API design, Swagger/OpenAPI, and integration patterns.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging systems such as Kafka, SQS, or SNS.
  
  

Front-End Development

• Strong experience with Angular (v12+ preferred).
• Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Experience building reusable UI components and consuming REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Angular Material and state management frameworks.
  
  

Cloud & DevOps

• Experience developing and deploying applications on AWS, with hands-on exposure to:AWS LambdaECS/EKSAPI GatewayS3RDSDynamoDBCloudWatchIAMSQS/SNS
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
  
  

Database Technologies

• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB.
  
  

Development Practices

• Experience with Git-based source control.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with unit testing and integration testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and application security standards.

As a Software Engineer, you will focus primarily on providing high quality, efficient technology solutions to business partners by crafting new software applications or modifying and/or supporting existing packaged or custom-built applications. In this capacity, you’ll analyze, code, configure, test, debug, document and maintain applications.

• Analyses, solutions, develops, tests, debugs, documents and deploys software according to standards in an agile environment.
• Applies secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure our data and technology solutions are protected from threats and vulnerabilities.
• Uses DevSecOps practices, tooling and techniques.
• Drives continuous improvement and learning through ongoing training, practice and innovation.
• Manages medium to large project priorities, deadlines and deliverables proactively.

Education

Qualifications & Experience:

Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or other related degree. Technology experience or non-traditional technology certificates can be substituted for an undergraduate degree.
