Software Engineer Full Stack Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• 2 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python and front-end experience including Angular, JavaScript or TypeScript or equivalent.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
• Experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into enterprise products, building agentic workflows, orchestrating tools, or leveraging semantic frameworks like Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Experience building scalable data pipelines (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow) and working with semantic data layers.
• Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), role-based access control (RBAC), and resolving system vulnerabilities.

Within this lifecycle, the Partner Program and Platform Team owns the central portals, automated evaluation engines, and performance metrics that drive partner growth. On the external side, we build the unified portal that serves as the single digital front door for all Google Cloud partner interactions. Through this portal, our platforms programmatically evaluate and deliver the tiering levels and technical credentials that serve as our partners' commercial livelihood—credentials that directly dictate their profit margins, financial rebates, market credibility, and eligibility for Google-led sales leads. We also track their technical solutions and customer deployment plans, serving transparent performance scorecards that allow resellers, service providers, and software builders, as well as internal partner development managers, to easily monitor their business health. On the internal side, we unify disparate data sources to provide a single, consistent version of truth, powering the management dashboards and strategy tools used by Google's own sales and operations leaders. By transforming complex business telemetry into clean, searchable concepts and deploying conversational AI assistants for both external partners and internal Googlers, we empower both audiences to query data safely and make better, faster decisions to accelerate global growth.

Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code.
• Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
