We are looking for a proficient MSSQL administrator/developer who is exceptional at managing SQL Server infrastructure, both proactively and reactively, to join our firm’s database and reporting engineering team in Hyderabad. The team of DBRE maintains ownership over the database and reporting technologies within the firm. The teams primary responsibilities include creating architecture and design and building infrastructure, in addition to monitoring and providing emergency response.

WHAT YOULL DO DAY-TO-DAY:

You will be responsible for database performance analysis, query tuning, and optimization. You will work on the architecture, design, and development with the MS SQL Server. You will have the opportunity to work on disaster recovery, problem analysis and troubleshooting, database change management, database emergency response, design, and maintenance of MSSQL and related data technologies.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Basic qualifications:

• A B.E./B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering or other technical disciplines, with 7+ years of hands-on database administration experience with MS SQL Server and an understanding of various aspects like infrastructure design, HADR, performance, security, T-SQL scripting, etc.
• 7+ years of performance tuning and query optimization experience using execution plans, Perfmon, Extended Events, and DMVs
• Solid understanding of working with large data sets
• 4+ years of experience in implementing highly efficient and scalable database designs by working very closely with application developers
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in working with Postgres and MongoDB
