Software Engineer - Agentic AI In IB Digital Operations

Your role

Do you want to work with Data Scientists and AI Engineers to build scalable MCP tools for agents, and intuitive user interfaces? Are you passionate about developing and integrating solutions that enhance the deployment and usability of Agentic AI-driven applications? We’re looking for a Software Engineer to:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, MCP Tools and APIs to build Agentic AI-driven applications.

Collaborate with Data Scientists and AI Engineers to integrate machine learning models into production systems.

Build intuitive and responsive user interfaces using React to enhance the usability of AI tools.

Develop and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless integration with external services and systems.

Work with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, to deploy and manage scalable AI solutions.

Implement and maintain data pipelines and messaging systems using SQL and Kafka.

Ensure smooth and automated deployments by building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Adhere to UBS’s governance, security, and compliance standards throughout the development lifecycle.

Your team

You’ll be working in the Agentic AI Pod, part of the IB Digital Operations Stream, based in Hyderabad. Our team focuses on leveraging AI and advanced analytics to transform operational processes and deliver exceptional client experiences. As a Software Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in building the tools and systems that enable the deployment and usability of AI-driven solutions.

Your expertise

• strong programming skills in Python, with experience in developing and integrating backend services.
• proficiency in building RESTful APIs and integrating with external systems.
• hands-on experience in frontend development using React.
• familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, for deploying and managing applications.
• strong knowledge of SQL for database management and experience with messaging systems like Kafka.
• experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, including Data Scientists and AI Engineers.
• bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
