Job Description

Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform, enhancing IT service management and business processes for Hitachi, Ltd.

Job Responsibilities**

• Design, develop, and maintain custom applications, modules, and integrations within the ServiceNow platform.
• Configure and administer ServiceNow modules including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, CMDB, and Discovery.
• Develop and maintain robust integrations with external systems using various integration methods (REST, SOAP, MID Server, etc.).
• Create and manage workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and other platform functionalities.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and propose effective solutions.
• Perform unit testing, system testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for all developed solutions.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for ServiceNow applications.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all developed solutions and configurations.
• Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates, new features, and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  
  

Job Qualifications**

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
• Proven expertise in ServiceNow development, including JavaScript, GlideScript, Jelly, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, ITSM processes, and best practices.
• Experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, CMDB, and Discovery.
• Proficiency in integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST APIs, SOAP, and other integration technologies.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is highly desirable.
