SEO Content Writer

Role Overview

We're hiring a Content Writer with strong SEO expertise to own our content pipeline blogs, website copy, landing pages, and email campaigns. You'll work closely with our marketing and counselling teams to produce content that drives organic traffic and supports student conversions. Prior knowledge of overseas education/study abroad processes is a plus, not a requirement — we'll help you get up to speed on the domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, write, and edit SEO-optimised blog posts, articles, and landing pages around study abroad topics (university guides, visa processes, test prep, scholarships, etc.)
• Conduct keyword research and apply on-page SEO best practices (meta titles, descriptions, headers, internal linking, keyword density)
• Collaborate with the SEO/marketing team to align content with search intent and ranking goals
• Track content performance using tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEMrush/Ahrefs, and iterate based on data
• Write compelling website copy, email newsletters, and social media captions as needed
• Repurpose long-form content into shorter formats for social/email
• Stay updated on Google algorithm changes and evolving SEO best practices
• Ensure all content is plagiarism-free, well-researched, and factually accurate
• Coordinate with subject matter experts (counsellors) to ensure content accuracy on study abroad topics
  
  

• 1–4 years of experience in content writing with a strong focus on SEO
• Proven track record of writing content that has ranked/performed well organically (portfolio required)
• Hands-on experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Ubersuggest, or similar)
• Strong understanding of keyword research, on-page SEO, and content structuring for search intent
• Excellent written English — clarity, grammar, and tone adaptability
• Ability to simplify complex information (visa rules, admissions processes) into reader-friendly content
• Comfortable working with content calendars and meeting deadlines
  
  

• Prior knowledge of or interest in study abroad/overseas education
• Experience with WordPress
• Basic understanding of link-building and off-page SEO
• Familiarity with AI writing tools for research/drafting (with a strong editing eye)
