Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Vulnerability Management Analyst to join our global cybersecurity team. This role requires someone who is a self-starter, comfortable operating in a fast-changing environment, and confident in following up and influencing remediation owners to ensure vulnerabilities are addressed in a timely manner.
You will work closely with US-based colleagues and global IT, cloud, and engineering teams to drive remediation, reduce risk, and continuously improve how vulnerabilities are identified, prioritized, and fixed.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze vulnerability scan results, assess exploitability, and prioritize remediation based on risk impact and business context.
- Proactively engage remediation owners (IT, infrastructure, cloud, DevOps) to drive patching and mitigation to closure
- Develop and refine vulnerability prioritization frameworks and remediation processes to ensure risk-based focus
- Contribute to the development of dashboards, reports, and risk assessments to track vulnerability remediation progress and security posture.
- continuously evaluate and enhance VM workflows (through automation, integration with other tools, etc.) to increase program efficiency and maturity
- Monitor public threat intelligence sources to understand the context of vulnerabilities.
- Partner with IT, infrastructure, cloud, and engineering teams to improve understanding of vulnerability risk, prioritization logic, and remediation expectations
Qualifications And Experience
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Vulnerability Management or related cybersecurity role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to articulate risk and influence stakeholders at multiple levels
- Proven ability to lead through influence and drive cross-functional collaboration
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and taking ownership in a developing program
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative in an evolving program environment
- Deep understanding of common vulnerability assessment methodologies and techniques (e.g., CVSS scoring, EPSS, threat modeling).
- Basic knowledge of vulnerability management tools, such as Nessus or Qualys
- Foundational understanding of operating systems, networking, and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience mentoring junior analysts or leading security projects is a plus
- Experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) / VM module is a plus
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ , GCVA, CVMP or equivalent are a plus.
