Job Responsibilities

Graduate or Postgraduate with minimum 3.5-5+ years of experience in Tax (US) (Corporate Tax) and working knowledge on Account reconciliation process.

Tax Team Member will be responsible for preparation and filing of US Corporate tax compliance filings along with the review of Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations and month-end postings.

He /She also is responsible for the financial integrity and reliability of account balance in SAP versus Tax based documentation. The candidate will work in a team. The candidate will interact with Local Finance Team, Business Controllers, Tax analysts, Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable teams and other support networks for the purpose of account reconciliations. Tax team members will also be working on dashboard preparation for the overall activities undertaken along with monthly reporting’s required in the team process. Team member will be required to show agility and readiness in accepting different tasks allocated with appropriated trainings necessary to complete the Job.

Job Description

• Impact on the Business & Teamwork.
• To Work with team and customers to ensure delivery as per agreed timelines.
• Prepare and lead review with U.S. tax team with compliance processes, including preparation and review of Forms 1120, 5471, 8865, 1118 and related filings.
• Prepare US International tax calculations including but not limited to GILTI, FDII, BEAT, Foreign Tax Credit Calculations, and Subpart F.
• Actively involved in preparation of files and workings for notices/query sent raised by the US IRS and/or CRA Tax Authorities. Focused approach in providing support in responding to audit enquiries by tax authority.
• Support US tax team with US schedulers or other professionals and build rapport.
• Support internal workflows and leverage SAP tools for tax and finance operations, giving me hands-on ERP experience that complements my compliance background.
• Preparation of complex partnership returns including complex Corporation and S-Corp returns.
• Performs Balance sheet account reconciliations (Direct Tax, Withholding etc…) in compliance with SOX and Qnity account reconciliation policy.
• Ensure journal postings are done after prior approvals as required by SOX and Qnity JEV policy
• Experience and knowledge of U.S. Tax Code is required.
• Working on OneSource for Tax Provision workings
• Monthly workaround with SAP and running macros to pull out various reports useful for preparation and filing of ESL & Intrastat returns in the country specific tax portals.

• Ensure to provide support to onshore counterparts on responsible GL, Tax regime compliance
• Active participants on all business calls and meetings and drive issue resolution as required.
• Timely respond to queries from senior level management.
• Provides management and financial statement users with relevant, comparable, and accurate data on which to base decisions.
  
  

Operational Effectiveness & Control

• Ensure proactive controls in place to highlight issues before they are picked up by business.
• Adheres to Qnity Internal control policies and procedures, including established SOX compliance processes.
• Develop an in-depth knowledge of accounting to support GL reconciliations.
• Ensure the basic process documentation is updated, completed and recorded for all the activities.
