We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Backend Developer with strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining production-grade RESTful APIs using Spring Boot. This role requires deep backend expertise, practical coding strength, and the ability to design and troubleshoot scalable microservices systems.

This is a hands-on engineering position. Candidates must demonstrate real project ownership and strong implementation capability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and maintain microservices-based backend systems
• Implement proper exception handling, validation, and transaction management
• Write optimized and well-structured SQL queries (Oracle preferred)
• Ensure accurate HTTP status code usage and robust edge-case handling
• Participate in debugging and resolving production issues
• Maintain clean layered architecture (Controller, Service, Repository)
• Write unit tests using JUnit and validate APIs using Swagger/Postman
  
  

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Java development
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot and REST API development
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture
• Strong SQL knowledge with Oracle database experience
• Experience with JUnit, Swagger, and Postman
• Clear understanding of HTTP protocols, status codes, and API design principles
• Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills
  
  

• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to distributed systems concepts
• Performance optimization and production debugging experience
  
  

• Can confidently explain and demonstrate APIs built in previous projects
• Comfortable writing clean, structured backend code independently
• Understands transaction boundaries, concurrency handling, and data integrity
• Demonstrates ownership and accountability in delivery
