Responsibilities

Day-to-day activities include interaction with many technologies including .NET (Framework & Core), Angular, Vue.js, and SQL.
Design, write and deliver software to improve the availability, reliability, scalability, latency, security, resiliency, and efficiency of a service
Contribute to debugging, troubleshooting complete a stack of services, and drive analysis of an outage; write software and build automation to resolve problems permanently.
Participate actively in code reviews, bug/issue triage with the feature teams, and support well-informed decisions towards business and engineering goals.
Review and influence ongoing design, architecture, standards, and methods for operating services and systems; assess design and code changes to drive improvements.
Write high-quality code and test and own the DevOps lifecycle

Qualifications

Required

6+ years of experience in C#, SQL, and ASP.Net Webform/MVC
4+ years of experience writing UI in HTML, CSS & JavaScript
2+ years of experience in developing REST APIs using Web API/WCF REST
2+ years of experience in implementing ORM (preferably Entity Framework)
1+ years of experience consuming REST APIs using jQuery/Angular
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required.
Solid communication skills

We Prefer

Experience writing Asp.Net Core apps.
Experience using design patterns to write highly reusable and maintainable code.
Experience with Git (GitHub/Bitbucket/VSTS OR Azure DevOps)
Experience writing and debugging asynchronous and multi-threaded code.
Experience authoring unit/performance/stress tests, analyzing the results, and identifying potential bottlenecks.
Experience with the DevOps model including but not limited to Continuous Delivery, Telemetry, Testing in Production, etc.
