Senior ServiceNow Developer ITSM

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in ITSM modules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement solutions within the ServiceNow ITSM suite (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Knowledge, Request, Service Catalog).

Develop and customize ServiceNow applications including forms, workflows, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, ACLs, and integrations.

Lead end-to-end implementation of new modules and enhancements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Implement and maintain MID server integrations, REST/SOAP APIs, and third-party system connections.

Ensure platform stability, performance, and adherence to governance standards.

Troubleshoot complex issues and provide expert-level support.

Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce best practices.

Manage update sets, migration activities, and platform upgrades.

Maintain documentation for technical designs, configurations, and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.

Strong knowledge of ITSM processes and frameworks (ITIL preferred).

Expertise in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, and workflow automation.

Experience working with Service Catalog, Request Fulfillment, and CMDB.

Proven experience in integration development using REST/SOAP, web services, and authentication methods (OAuth, SAML).

Familiarity with ServiceNow platform upgrades, performance tuning, and security controls.

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required;

Preferred Skills

CAD, CIS-ITSM, or additional certifications preferred.

Experience with ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or custom applications is a plus.

Knowledge of scripting frameworks like AngularJS or Bootstrap.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
