Join Lonza’s global IT and Finance organization as a Senior SAP FICO Consultant, where you will play a key role in shaping and optimizing finance technology solutions that support business operations worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with global stakeholders, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to finance transformation initiatives across a complex SAP landscape.

This is an office-first role. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and team alignment, enabling us to deliver our best work. You will work primarily in the office, with the flexibility to work remotely for 20% of your time (one day per week).

What You Will Do

• Own SAP ECC FI solution design, configuration, support and continuous improvement across core finance processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking and Tax.
• Partner with Finance, Tax, Controlling and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions aligned with Lonza standards.
• Ensure effective integration between SAP FI and related modules including CO, MM, SD and PS, as well as third-party applications and interfaces.
• Lead functional testing activities, support user acceptance testing and ensure solutions meet business and compliance requirements.
• Provide expert-level support for complex SAP FICO incidents, ensuring continuity of critical finance operations.
• Collaborate with AMS partners, technical teams and vendors to deliver high-quality, maintainable and compliant solutions.
• Contribute to finance transformation programs, global rollouts and SAP S/4HANA-related initiatives where applicable.
  
  

What we are looking for

• Proven experience delivering SAP FICO consulting, implementation or application support services in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in SAP FI configuration across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking and Tax.
• Deep understanding of integration points between SAP FI and modules such as CO, MM, SD and PS.
• Experience translating business requirements into solution designs, functional specifications, testing strategies and deployment-ready solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, support critical finance processes and work effectively with global business and technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• SAP S/4HANA Finance experience, SAP certification, and experience within regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals or life sciences are highly desirable.
