Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior RTR Accounting professional to join our team at Hitachi Digital. This role will be responsible for overseeing and executing all aspects of the Record to Report (RTR) process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for the organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Prepare and post complex journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Oversee general ledger accounting, including intercompany transactions, accruals, and deferrals.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and ensure data integrity.
- Identify and implement process improvements within the RTR cycle to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Participate in internal and external audit processes, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and assist in the development of new control procedures.
- Stay updated on relevant accounting pronouncements and regulatory changes.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification preferred.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of progressive experience in Record to Report accounting, preferably within a large multinational corporation.
- Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in financial accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and experience in guiding junior team members.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
