Senior Product Manager – Risk Platform

About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to help define and scale a modern risk and compliance platform for a global payments business. The platform will serve as the common foundation for embedding risk and compliance into payment journeys consistently, intelligently, and at scale.

This is a platform product role: the successful candidate will think beyond individual workflows and design reusable services, APIs, and configuration models that can be adopted by multiple products and business lines. The role requires strong systems thinking, technical fluency, and the ability to balance regulatory obligations, operational efficiency, and user experience.

What You’ll Do

• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for reusable risk and compliance platform capabilities across products and regions.
• Turn risk, compliance, operational, and customer needs into clear product requirements and delivery plans.
• Shape core platform capabilities such as policy evaluation, decision orchestration, restrictions, and verification journeys.
• Design capabilities that can be consumed through standardized APIs, hosted experiences, and embedded user flows.
• Build shared foundations such as canonical data models, action and decision models, and reusable workflow patterns.
• Partner with Engineering, Architecture, UX, and Compliance teams to deliver scalable and explainable solutions.
• Use data and stakeholder feedback to identify gaps, prioritize trade-offs, and measure platform impact.
• Balance self-service adoption with governance, reliability, and regulatory readiness.
• Communicate product direction, key decisions, and delivery progress to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in platform, fintech, payments, or regulated products.
• Experience with risk, compliance, KYC/KYB, or AML workflows.
• Experience with API-first platforms, workflow orchestration, decisioning systems, or third-party integrations.
• Strong track record defining strategy, building roadmaps, and driving cross-functional execution.
• Platform mindset, with the ability to design reusable capabilities, APIs, workflows, and shared data models.
• Strong systems thinking, with the ability to simplify complex processes across products, systems, and teams.
• Good understanding of UX, workflows, business processes, and operational needs.
• Technical fluency across APIs, integrations, data models, and system design.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills across senior and cross-functional audiences.
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity, structuring complex problems, and driving alignment across competing priorities.

Estimated Pay Range:
