As a Senior Product Designer, you will define specific product needs based on user insights to ideate solutions to meet user needs and create and develop design concepts and specifications that optimize the emotional and functional experience of a product, software, device, or service. This opportunity will allow you to focus on end-to-end user experiences, empathizing and balancing experiences with business and technical tradeoffs. You will produce visual designs from concept through delivery and sustainment, support interaction designs for hardware and/or software-based experiences, and partner with internal and external development teams, marketing and design groups to research and analyze customer feedback for incorporation into product enhancements, new product designs and overall design language and strategy.   Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. Responsibilities

Responsibilities :You will create wireframes, journey maps, and other elements to support interaction design. You’ll also begin to lead product UX improvements by creating interaction models while acting as a liaison between users and products.You will communicate with cross-disciplinary teams across all stages of design and development. You will also tell a compelling, convincing product story to a specific audience.You will work with creative team members, program managers, and developers to define product features. You’ll collaborate with your team to deliver product design results while also providing guidance to product designers.You will interact with Engineering and perform QAs to ensure quality while showing the ability to challenge design limitations. You’ll also produce visual designs and mentor others on their creation.

Qualifications

Required Qualification(s):Bachelors Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 5+ years experience working in product or service designOR Masters Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 4+ years experience working in product or service designOR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems)Preferred Qualifications(s):Bachelors Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 8+ years experience working in product or service designOR Masters Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 6+ years experience working in product or service designOR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems)4+ years experience shipping products, services, or games and/or delivering to customers as a result of an end-to-end design processMicrosoft is an equal opportunity employer.
