Job Summary

This role is for a Product Strategy & Delivery Leader, responsible for end-to-end product ownership across multiple strategic initiatives. The candidate will shape and execute product strategies, lead cross-functional development efforts, and ensure delivery aligns with business objectives, quality standards, and budget constraints.

Role Overview

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories is seeking a Senior Principal Product Manager - Supply Chain Analytics to lead the vision, strategy, and delivery of advanced analytics products that enable end-to-end visibility, predictive decision-making, and operational excellence across the global supply chain.

This role will act as the bridge between business, data science, technology, and operations, owning analytics products from concept to scale. The ideal candidate will bring a strong consulting background, structured problem-solving skills, and hands-on product leadership experience in analytics-driven transformations.



Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and own the product vision and roadmap for supply chain analytics platforms and use cases (e.g., demand forecasting, inventory optimization, S&OP/IBP, network planning, service level optimization).
  • Translate business priorities into scalable analytics and data products aligned with enterprise supply chain strategy.
  • Build compelling business cases with clear value articulation (cost, service, working capital, resilience).

Product Development & Delivery

  • Own the product lifecycle from ideation to deployment and adoption.
  • Partner with data science, engineering, IT, and external vendors to design, build, and scale analytics solutions.
  • Prioritize and manage the backlog, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of analytics features and enhancements.
  • Ensure analytics products are user-centric, actionable, and embedded in decision-making workflows.

Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with senior supply chain leaders across planning, manufacturing, quality, procurement, and logistics.
  • Facilitate structured problem-solving and decision-making using analytics outputs.
  • Influence without authority across global and cross-functional teams.

Analytics & Digital Enablement

  • Drive adoption of advanced analytics, AI/ML, and optimization techniques in supply chain decision-making.
  • Ensure strong data governance, KPI definitions, and performance tracking.
  • Partner with enterprise data teams to ensure robust data foundations and integration with ERP and planning systems.

Change Management & Adoption

  • Champion product adoption through change management, training, and communication.
  • Track realized benefits and continuously refine products based on performance and user feedback.

Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications

Required Experience

  • 8–10 years of professional experience, primarily from a top-tier consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Accenture Strategy, Deloitte, PwC, EY).
  • Strong experience leading analytics-led transformation programs in supply chain or operations.
  • Proven track record of working with senior leadership and driving measurable business outcomes.

Education

  • MBA or equivalent degree from a premium B-school (e.g., IIMs, ISB, global top-tier business schools).
  • Strong academic foundation in engineering, economics, or quantitative disciplines preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and performance levers.
  • Strong product management mindset with experience owning roadmaps and outcomes.
  • High analytical rigor, structured thinking, and hypothesis-led problem-solving.
  • Ability to translate complex analytics into clear business insights.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
