What You Will Do
Drive Continuity of Supply: Oversee the requisition of goods and services for Lonza AG, ensuring all selections align with procurement policies regarding price, quality, and delivery.
Enable Production Planning: Provide critical information for production schedules by tracking deliveries and updating system due dates.
Manage Lifecycle Procurement: Place purchase orders, obtain confirmations, and expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery across several global sites.
Maintain Data Integrity: Review and validate purchase requisitions and maintain relevant SAP data fields to ensure standardized materials are used in production.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Interact daily with internal business stakeholders, quality assurance, and global suppliers to manage rejections, returns, and non-conformance issues.
Monitor Performance: Track supplier performance and raise critical issues with strategic buyers and category managers to improve the supply chain.
Support Global Operations: Provide back-up support for SAP Ariba order management and handle complex material management queries.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Entry-level professional with 0-4 years of experience specifically in Order Management.
Technical Proficiency: Strong familiarity with SAP (ECC/Ariba) for maintaining delivery data and processing high-volume material requisitions.
Language Skills: Business fluent in English.
Analytical Agility: A problem-solver who supports process improvement and understands how their actions impact the broader business area.
Collaborative Mindset: A team player who generously shares knowledge and works effectively with Procurement and Business stakeholders.
Results Oriented: Proven ability to consistently deliver on KPIs and challenging goals while seeking continuous feedback for professional development.
