The Senior Manager, Sales & Operations Finance – FP&A will be based in Hyderabad, India. In this position, you will report to the Director, Cost Accounting. We are seeking an experienced finance professional to partner closely with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to drive high-quality forecasting, improve pipeline visibility, and provide commercial financial insights. The role requires a proactive individual who can challenge assumptions, identify business risks, and translate operational developments into financial impact to support informed decision-making. The ideal candidate is a business-oriented finance professional who acts as a trusted advisor rather than a traditional controller. They are comfortable engaging with Sales leaders, asking challenging questions, validating assumptions, identifying risks early, and providing actionable financial insights that improve forecast accuracy and business performance.

Here is a glimpse of what you will do:

  • Review and assess the quality and health of the sales pipeline and order backlog.
  • Challenge sales forecasts and assumptions using financial and operational analysis.
  • Partner with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Project teams to develop accurate order intake and order booking forecasts.
  • Identify potential commercial and execution risks that may impact revenue, margins, cash flow, and profitability.
  • Quantify business risks and opportunities, translating them into financial implications for management.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and recommend actions to improve predictability of business performance.
  • Support monthly forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning activities.
  • Develop financial models and scenario analyses for management decision-making.
  • Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations highlighting key business drivers and risks.
  • Drive cross-functional discussions to improve forecast quality and operational performance.
  • Ensure correctness of data in Salesforce, NS and other relevant tools

Here is some of what you will need (required):

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or related field.
  • Professional qualification (CA, CMA, CPA, ACCA, MBA Finance, or equivalent) preferred.
  • (12-15) years of experience in Commercial Finance, Sales Finance, FP&A, Business Controlling, or Sales Operations Finance.
  • Experience working with sales organizations in manufacturing, industrial, engineering, energy, EPC, or technology sectors is highly desirable.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Deep understanding of sales pipeline management, order intake, and revenue forecasting.
  • Flexible to work in US time zone
