We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Senior Lead, Marketing Analytics & Strategy to lead the global monitoring and analytical strategy for our central Marketing function. This pivotal role will be responsible for defining the analytical roadmap, driving data-driven decision-making, and translating complex global marketing performance metrics into clear, actionable insights for worldwide and executive leadership.
This individual will serve as the Team Lead for a group of highly skilled Data Analysts located in a specific region, focusing on mentorship, project prioritization, and establishing best-in-class analytical practices for their execution team. The successful candidate will be the primary analytical voice for global Marketing Performance, requiring exceptional communication and executive presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
Global Strategy & Analytics Mastery
- Analytics Roadmap Ownership: Define and execute the central/global Marketing Analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with worldwide business objectives and measurable ROI goals across all markets.
- Global Performance Monitoring: Own the comprehensive analysis and reporting of end-to-end global marketing performance, identifying trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities at scale.
- Advanced Modeling: Lead the design and implementation of sophisticated analytical models, including global marketing mix modeling, multi-touch attribution (MTA), customer lifetime value (CLV) forecasts, and predictive modeling (e.g., propensity-to-buy).
- Cross-Market Insight Generation: Proactively identify high-impact growth opportunities and risks that span multiple markets, guiding global resource allocation decisions.
Team Leadership & Mentorship (Player-Coach)
- Team Leadership: Act as the technical and strategic lead for the regional team of Data Analysts, overseeing project prioritization, quality control, and the efficient execution of global analytical initiatives.
- Mentorship & Development: Mentor the analysts in data storytelling, complex problem-solving, and advanced statistical techniques to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the regional pod.
- Process Standardization: Establish and govern reporting standards, data definitions, and documentation for the entire global team to ensure consistency and accuracy across all performance analyses.
Executive Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Leadership Storytelling: Own the narrative and present key performance indicators (KPIs), campaign results, and strategic recommendations to Executive Leadership (VPs, SVPs) in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner, emphasizing global impact.
- High-Stakes Presentation: Develop and deliver polished, executive-level presentations (e.g., Quarterly Business Reviews, Strategic Planning sessions) that distill complex global data into easy-to-digest business actions.
- Global Partnership: Serve as the primary analytical partner for central Marketing, Finance, and Sales leaders, ensuring alignment on performance definitions, goals, and strategic priorities across the organization.
Candidate Requirements And Competencies
Experience & Technical Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in Marketing Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a highly quantitative field, preferably in the B2B SaaS or technology sector.
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL for querying large, complex data sets, ideally within a global data infrastructure.
- Deep hands-on experience with a major Data Visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to build scalable, production-ready dashboards for global consumption.
- Proven experience building and implementing Marketing Attribution Models (multi-touch) and Lifetime Value (LTV) calculations at a large, international scale.
- Familiarity with cloud data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift).
- Experience in a statistical programming language (e.g., Python or R) is a strong asset for advanced statistical analysis.
Communication & Leadership
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills. Must be comfortable constructing compelling data narratives for executive-level audiences on global business performance.
- Strong ability to translate ambiguous global business problems into structured analytical plans and measurable outputs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead an analytical team in a "player-coach" capacity, guiding projects and mentoring junior staff within a geographically distinct team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with large-scale marketing data platforms (e.g.Salesforce, Marketo/Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics/Website Logs, Product Usage).
- Experience operating within a geographically dispersed or global organization.
