Are you ready to lead complex engineering programs that require strong planning, cross-team coordination, and disciplined execution? Deloitte is seeking a Senior - Technical Program Management (TPM) professional to drive integrated engineering schedules, manage dependencies, identify delivery risks early, and help ensure business commitments are met across global technology initiatives. In this role, you will work closely with product, engineering, and leadership teams to bring structure, transparency, and operational rigor to enterprise-scale delivery.
Work you'll do
As a Senior - Technical Program Management (TPM) on the GES Technology Group team, you will be responsible for coordinating engineering delivery plans, aligning stakeholders, and driving execution across one or more domains.
- Own and maintain integrated engineering schedules for assigned domains, including milestones, delivery dates, and schedule updates tied to product and engineering decisions
- Track and manage dependencies across teams, domains, and product areas; facilitate issue resolution to reduce delivery blockers and improve execution visibility
- Identify and monitor risks related to scope, resources, dependencies, and execution; maintain mitigation plans and escalate unresolved issues with context and recommendations
- Partner with product owners, product managers, engineering managers, and leadership teams to align priorities, capacity, milestones, and delivery commitments
- Develop domain knowledge across architecture, release cadence, team structure, and workstream impacts to assess schedule changes and support informed delivery decisions
The team
At Deloitte Tax LLP, the Global Employer Services (GES) Technology Group helps multinational clients develop programs, processes, and digital offerings to manage global workforce needs and compliance obligations tied to mobility, business travel, and remote work. The team partners with go-to-market teams and global clients to solve business and technology challenges, design digital experiences, and build products that support compliance with global and local regulations.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management or engineering program management within software product environments
- Experience owning integrated engineering schedules across multiple teams, including milestones, delivery dates, and dependency tracking
- Experience managing cross-functional dependencies across engineering teams, product teams, platforms, or domains
- Experience working with software development life cycle models, including Agile, Scaled Agile Framework, or hybrid delivery methodologies
- Experience identifying, documenting, and escalating delivery risks related to scope, resources, dependencies, or execution
- Experience translating product scope and priority decisions into engineering delivery plans and status reporting
Preferred:
- Experience with cloud architecture or multi-tier application environments
- Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, or comparable program tracking tools
- Project Management Professional or SAFe Agilist certification
- Knowledge of SOC 2 standards or data privacy regulations, including General Data Protection Regulation
- Experience working in regulated technology environments
