Job Description
A Senior Analyst focuses specifically on the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's Workforce Software (WFM) system. They bridge the gap between IT and Operations, ensuring the software accurately models business rules and delivers actionable data for scheduling, capturing, forecasting, and calculating time data for payroll processes..
The Workforce Software Senior Analyst is the subject matter expert responsible for the technical administration, configuration, and data integrity of the Workforce Software (WFM) system. This role ensures the WFM platform accurately reflects business logic, supports efficient staffing and scheduling, and provides reliable data for operational and financial analysis.
Responsibilities
WFM System Administration & Configuration: Maintain and update core WFM system settings, policy profiles, employee profiles, time-off policies, quota calculations and timesheet calculations.
Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy of data integrations between the WFM system and upstream HR/Payroll systems (e.g., SAP Employee Central Payroll). Troubleshoot and resolve data flow errors.
User Management: Manage user access, roles, and permissions within the WFM application.
System Upgrades & Testing: Participate in testing and validation for WFM system upgrades, patches, and feature rollouts to ensure seamless performance and compliance.
Optimization & Analysis: Monitor jobs for review and correction of errors.
Rule Engine Optimization: Analyze current scheduling models and configuration settings to identify opportunities for improved forecasting accuracy, adherence, and efficiency.
Business Requirements: Translate complex business requirements (e.g., new labor agreements, regulatory changes) into functional specifications and configure them within the WFM platform.
Reporting & Dashboards: Develop, modify, and manage custom reports and dashboards within the WFM system to provide operational leaders with visibility into key metrics (e.g., compliance, productivity, utilization).
Support & Collaboration: Problem resolution with business partners, SAP/WFS, support contractors, and internal IT staff.
Technical Support: Serve as the Tier 2 or Tier 3 technical contact for WFM system issues, diagnosing problems related to the mobile app and WorkforceHub, integration with SuccessFactors, quota calculations, and timesheet calculations.
Training & Documentation: Create and deliver training materials and support documentation for end-users, WFM schedulers, and new administrators.
Cross-Functional Liaison: Collaborate closely with IT, HRIS, Payroll, and Operations teams to ensure system alignment with organizational policies and technical infrastructure.
Qualifications
Any Graduate
3-4 years of hands-on experience administering, configuring, or supporting a major Workforce Software platform.
Workforce Time Level 1 - Configuration Specialist
Workforce Time Level 2 - Configuration Specialist
Strong technical aptitude for system logic, relational databases, and data interfaces.
Experience with SAP Employee Central integration data points with WFM.
Proficiency in Advanced Excel for data analysis and validation.
Preferred Skills : Knowledge of time and attendance, payroll processing, and labor law compliance as it relates to system configuration.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Certifications from WorkForce Software permitting system modifications and report creation.
