General Summary

  • Skills/experience:
    • Mandatory Skills:
      • 2-6 years of experiences in image processing/computer vision/video domain.
      • Good understanding of image processing and computer vision fundamentals..
      • Hands on knowledge/experience on camera/computer vision pipeline, development, porting and optimization
      • Solid C programming skills and multithreading.
      • Good analytical, algorithmic and problem solving skills.
      • Hands on experience in development of one of the advanced video codecs like AVC, HEVC, AV1, VVC.
    • Optional Skills:
      • Preferable to have good at OS concepts/fundamentals.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement and debug multimedia features for mobiles.

  • Responsibilities:

The Successful Candidate(s) Will Be Responsible For

  • Development and productize various video solutions on Qualcomm processors
  • Enhance video, imaging Firmware solutions and help with video, imaging hardware subsystem enhancements in future Qualcomm Mobile Processors
  • Design of video, imaging features and work with a wide set of teams across the company (systems, software, hardware, etc.) in the productization
  • Customer interaction to commercialize Qualcomm Video solutions.
  • Education requirements:
    • Required: Bachelors/Master’s Computer Engineering and/or Electrical / Electronics Engineering


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
