Senior Developer- NET Azure

OSI Digital is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior .NET / Azure Developer with expertise in enterprise integrations, SQL programming, and workflow foundations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and developing secure, scalable, and maintainable applications on Azure, while integrating with third-party platforms such as BigCommerce and other external systems.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex integration challenges, optimizing database performance, and working across distributed cloud environments to deliver production-grade enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications hosted on Microsoft Azure.

Build and manage integrations with e-commerce and external platforms, especially BigCommerce, using APIs and

middleware frameworks.

Develop and optimize SQL Server stored procedures, functions, and table adapters for high-performance data operations.

Implement and maintain workflow-driven solutions using Windows Workflow Foundation (WF), Logic Apps, or custom workflow engines.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features aligned with business needs.

Design secure and efficient integration patterns for seamless data exchange between systems.

Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and best practice enforcement for maintainable software design.

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in code, database, and integrations.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including system design, API specs, and deployment guides.

Contribute to DevOps pipelines and deployment strategies using Azure DevOps or equivalent tools.

Required Skills & Experience

6+ years of hands-on experience in .NET / C# development for enterprise-grade applications.

Strong knowledge of Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, and Logic Apps.

Proven experience integrating applications with BigCommerce APIs or other large-scale e-commerce platforms.

Advanced proficiency in SQL Server, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, views, and table adapters.

Experience implementing workflow foundations using WF or Logic Apps.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, OAuth, and Webhooks for third-party integrations.

Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, and automated deployments on Azure.

Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and documentation abilities for collaboration across technical and business teams.

Nice to Have

Experience with Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, or similar messaging systems.

Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, AKS).

Exposure to microservices architectures or API management frameworks.

Experience with BigCommerce SDKs, plugins, or middleware integration accelerators.

Microsoft certifications in Azure Developer Associate or Solutions Architect.

Does not want to leverage AI tools like Cursor or GitHub Copilot for better productivity.
