We are seeking a Senior Data Quality Engineer with solid experience in enterprise data platforms, cloud data engineering, and automated data quality validation, Automation and Regression testing. The role focuses on ensuring end‑to‑end data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across Azure and Databricks-based data ecosystems through robust automation and validation frameworks.

Primary Responsibilities

Builder Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions using no-code, low-code, and advanced platforms, translating business needs into scalable applications that enhance products, workflows, and decision-making.

  • Design and execute data quality, data validation, and regression testing across ingestion, transformation, and reporting layers
  • Build and maintain custom automated data validation frameworks (DVP-like) using Python and SQL
  • Perform source-to-target reconciliation, metadata validation, and business rule checks
  • Validate data across ADF, Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, and Power BI
  • Identify, analyse, and perform root cause analysis of data quality defects
  • Write complex SQL queries for data validation and defect identification
  • Create and manage test data aligned with functional and technical requirements
  • Ensure requirement-to-test-case traceability for SIT and regression cycles
  • Embed data quality checks into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Jenkins
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience in Data Quality Engineering . Data Automation Test Engineer
  • Solid experience with:
    • Experience building automation frameworks using Python
    • Experience in Validation similar to DVP and or other custom automation framework
    • Experience in Data Warehouse / ETL / BI (Power BI) testing
    • API testing experience
    • Experience with metadata, lineage, and audit validation
    • Experience working on enterprise-scale cloud data platforms
    • Azure Databricks
    • Azure Data Factory (ADF)
    • Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Azure Blob Storage
    • Expert-level SQL for validation, reconciliation, and defect analysis
    • Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps testing models (GitHub)
    • Solid understanding of STLC, Agile, and SDLC
    • Exposure to Selenium or UI automation concepts
