Job Description

Senior Crownpeak DXM Developer (Headless / API-First)

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and delivery of Crownpeak DXM headless and API-first implementations
Design, build, and maintain Crownpeak DXM content models, components, and templates optimized for headless delivery
Develop and support CMS-driven front-end implementations using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Integrate Crownpeak DXM Content APIs and Delivery APIs with downstream digital channels (web, mobile, third-party platforms)
Configure and manage Crownpeak DXM workflows, publishing processes, and multi-environment setups (Dev / QA / UAT / Prod)
Ensure solutions follow performance, scalability, SEO, and accessibility (WCAG) best practices
Collaborate with solution architects, UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and content authors to deliver enterprise-grade digital experiences
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to other developers on Crownpeak DXM best practices
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to headless delivery, content rendering, APIs, and publishing pipelines
Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and CMS governance processes

Required Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in CMS or front-end development
Mandatory hands-on experience with Crownpeak DXM on production projects
Proven experience delivering Crownpeak DXM headless / API-first solutions
Strong expertise in Crownpeak DXM content modeling, component development, and publishing workflows
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for CMS-driven front-end development
Experience integrating Crownpeak DXM with RESTful APIs and external systems
Strong understanding of Crownpeak DXM architecture, environments, and deployment processes
Experience using front-end build tools (npm, Webpack, Gulp, or similar)
Proficient with Git and collaborative development practices
Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
Candidates must be located in Malaysia with full work authorisation

Nice to Have

Experience with Crownpeak DXM Content APIs, Delivery APIs, and headless channel integrations
Knowledge of Node.js for integration layers or build tooling
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for CMS and front-end deployments
Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments
Exposure to Crownpeak SEO, Accessibility, and Personalisation features
Experience working with Crownpeak partners or system integrators
