JOB TITLE: SAP CX QA Tester — Senior/ Lead Consultant (Offshore)

Experience Required: 8 - 12 years

Location – Hyderabad/ Pune/ Hybrid

Shift timings: EST – (5PM – 2AM IST)

Role Overview

Defines and executes the overall Quality Assurance (QA) strategy and test plan across the integrated landscape (S/4HANA, CX, BTP), leading the QA team and ensuring high quality deliverables and system readiness for go-live.

Key Accountabilities

• Define the comprehensive testing strategy (Unit, Integration, SIT, UAT, Performance, Regression) for the entire SAP program.
• Manage the team of QA Consultants, assigning test cycles, and monitoring execution progress against quality gates.
• Oversee the preparation of test data, test environments, and the creation of detailed test scripts (functional and automated).
• Manage defect tracking, resolution, and re-testing processes using a central defect management tool.
• Provide regular reports on testing progress, coverage, and quality metrics to the Project Managers.
  
  

Experience & Background

• 8+ years in IT QA, with 3+ years as a Test Lead on a major SAP implementation program.
• Proven experience testing complex, integrated SAP landscapes (S/4HANA and cloud systems).
• Experience in setting up and managing testing tools.
  
  

Core Competencies

• Expertise in test planning, test case design, and execution management.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) Test Suite or other leading testing tools (e.g., Micro Focus ALM, Jira).
• Deep understanding of cross-functional and integration testing scenarios (CX to S/4HANA).
  
  

Preferred Competencies

• Experience with test automation tools relevant to SAP Fiori/UI5 and SAP Cloud platforms.
• Certified QA or Testing Professional (e.g., ISTQB Advanced Level).
