We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Associate Director, Data and Analytics

In This Role, You Will

  • Lead the technical design and build of IT systems , adding AI features aligned to business value.
  • Set the technical standards and best practices for engineering teams.
  • Guide and mentor other engineers, helping to build a strong technical culture.
  • Solve complex technical problems that affect multiple systems.
  • Work closely with senior management to ensure technology choices support business goals.
  • Review system designs to ensure they are secure, reliable, and scale .
  • Research and introduce new capabilities that improve our services and efficiency .
  • Ensure all technical work and AI tools follow Group Chief Information Office (GCIO) standards and banking regulations .

To Be Successful, You Will

  • Extensive experience working as a senior, lead, or principal software engineer, with experience building AI systems
  • A strong background in building large-scale, secure systems, ideally within the financial sector.
  • Deep knowledge of modern software development, cloud computing, and system design.
  • Proven ability to lead technical projects and guide engineering teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to handle complex, system-wide challenges.
  • Clear communication skills to explain technical and AI concepts to both technical and non-technical staff.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment with strict security rules.
  • A hands-on approach, remaining comfortable reviewing code, testing AI tools and leading by example.
