Senior Analyst- Government & Public Services(GPS) Insights Specialist- Global Strategic Insights Center

The team supports, develops, writes, and presents market intelligence outputs for global internal practitioners, powering Deloitte’s market strategies with insights.
Work you'll do
As a Consultant, Standardized Strategic Support Services on the Global Strategic Insights Center team, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering strategic insights on government and public services market trends, client priorities, competition, innovation, alliances, and industry disruption.
- Applying research tools and methodologies to develop consultative research deliverables for internal stakeholders.
- Synthesizing qualitative and quantitative information into clear, structured narratives and presentation materials.
- Scoping research requests, aligning with stakeholders on objectives, and proposing approaches based on business needs.
- Coordinating with global colleagues to support project execution, quality, and timely delivery.
- Contributing to team initiatives and supporting onboarding or mentoring of newer team members.
The team
Global Strategic Insights Center (GSIC) provides research and program management solutions to global Deloitte Member Firms in support of pursuit, business development, practice development, and client engagements. The team uses exclusive sources, specialized research skills, and industry expertise to develop insightful research reports delivering significant value to their customers across Deloitte’s global network. Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM IST
Qualifications
Required:
- Postgraduate degree from a business school with 4-6 years of work experience, including at least 2 years of government and public services research experience.
- Experience analyzing government and public services topics such as budgets, procurement, supply chains, justice, homeland security, or defense.
- Experience conducting secondary research using public sources, proprietary databases, and sector-specific research tools.
- Experience synthesizing findings into presentations, briefing materials, or written insights for business stakeholders or leadership audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Experience using research sources such as government budget documents, procurement platforms, national statistical databases, RAND, or BGOV.
- Experience scoping research requests and managing project delivery across multiple stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in economics or public policy.
- Experience supporting senior leadership or client service teams.
- Experience developing storyboards, charts, and executive-level presentation materials.
- Experience using generative artificial intelligence tools or prompt engineering techniques in research workflows.
