Job Description

As an SDET III, youll design, develop, deploy, and maintain test automation for medium-complexity features.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager. Youll work with the Product & Tech team under minimal supervision.

What You Will Do

• Enhance test automation tools, scripts, coverage, and code structure.
• Debug application issues and assist developers in identifying root causes.
• Automate manual tasks to boost productivity.
• Utilize AI-powered developer tools (e.g., Amazon Q, GitHub Copilot, AutonomIQ, Testim, or Mabl) to accelerate automation and script generation.
• Integrate automation workflows with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions)Work with BDD frameworks (like pytest-bdd, Cucumber, or Behave) for behavior-driven automation
• Implement AI-assisted test case generation from documentation, Jira tickets, or product requirements.
• Develop detailed test plans and review test cases from peers.
• Manage timely testing, including manual testing.
• Understand and apply programming languages, frameworks, and computer science fundamentals.
• Participate in product discussions and refine acceptance criteria.
• Gain product knowledge and understand technical architecture.
• Create documentation for features and conduct code reviews.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and QEs on implementation details.
• Mentor junior SDETs and lead the onboarding process.
• Contribute to interviews and suggest process improvements.
  
  

Qualifications

• A results-driven full-stack QA engineer with a passion for new challenges.
• Proficient in all testing stages, including requirements analysis, test planning, execution, and reporting.
• Hands on AI-powered developer tools (e.g., Amazon Q, GitHub Copilot, AutonomIQ, Testim, or Mabl) to accelerate automation and script generation.
• Hands on experience in Integration of automation workflows with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions)Work with BDD frameworks (like pytest-bdd, Cucumber, or Behave) for behavior-driven automation
• Experience in implementation of AI-assisted test case generation from documentation, Jira tickets, or product requirements.
• Experienced in API testing with tools like Postman and RESTAssured.
• Skilled in test management tools (e.g., Jira, Xray) and test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Playwright, Cypress), and Programming languages like Java, python ,Javascript
• Capable of designing test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Knowledgeable in test design for non-functional requirements like performance, security, and accessibility.
• Experienced in CI/CD concepts and Scrum/Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with various roles and stakeholders.
