Job Description

Advertising Title: SDET II

As a SDET II, you will design, develop, deploy, and maintain medium-complexity test automation features.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will work within the Product & Tech team on end-to-end testing initiatives for various features with minimal guidance.

What You Will Do

• Drive innovation in sports betting products and enhance team culture.
• Collaborate with developers, QAs, product managers, and UX/UI professionals.
• Test betting and gaming applications across Web, Mobile, and Desktop platforms.
• Performance Strategy: Own the end-to-end performance testing lifecycle, including workload modeling, test planning, and establishing performance benchmarks (SLIs/SLOs).
• Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain custom performance testing frameworks using tools like Neoload, JMeter, Load Runner, Gatling, Locust, or K6.
• Bottleneck Analysis: Deep-dive into system performance issues using APM tools (New Relic, Datadog, Dynatrace) to identify root causes at the code, database, or infrastructure level.
• Continuous Testing: Integrate automated performance "gates" into the CI/CD pipeline to prevent performance regressions in every release.
• Scalability Engineering: Conduct Load, Stress, Endurance, and Spike testing to validate system elasticity and auto-scaling capabilities.
• Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior SDETs, conduct code reviews for test scripts, and drive performance awareness across the engineering organization.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experienced full-stack QA engineer with proficiency in enterprise application testing.
• Skilled in all testing stages: requirements analysis, planning, design, execution, and reporting.
• Languages: Advanced proficiency in Java, Python
• Load Tools :Neoload, Load Runner, JMeter (BlazeMeter), Gatling (Scala/Java), Locust, or K6.
• Observability : Prometheus, App Dynamics, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, or ELK Stack.
• Architecture: Deep understanding of Microservices, Distributed Systems, and Caching (Redis/Memcached).
• Cloud/Infra : AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), and Terraform.
• Database: SQL optimization, indexing strategies, and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Understanding of testing strategies and Scrum/Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and a team player with a willingness to learn and share knowledge.
