Job Summary:

We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented SDET with hands-on experience in Playwright to join our Quality Assurance team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining automated test scripts, ensuring the quality of our web applications, and working closely with developers to catch issues early in the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2 to 3 years of proven experience in software testing and test automation.
• Strong hands-on programming experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Direct, practical experience building UI and API automation scripts using Playwright.
• Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM, RESTful APIs).
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and continuous testing practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong team-player mindset.
  
  

• Design, develop, and execute automated web UI and API tests using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks to ensure reliable and fast test execution.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using Jira or similar tools.
• Perform debugging and root-cause analysis for test failures.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
