Role Overview:



We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ePPDS (enhanced Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) Consultant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SAP PPDS Heuristics, deep familiarity with master data management, and practical exposure to process industries, particularly liquid manufacturing, and tank planning. You will be responsible for designing, configuring, and delivering end-to-end PPDS solutions, ensuring optimal production planning and execution aligned with business objectives. Ability to work independently in complex environments is crucial.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Configuration
• Analyze business requirements related to Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS), particularly for process industries (liquid manufacturing, tank planning).
• Design and configure PPDS heuristics, including custom and standard heuristics such as PP_002 and rescheduling heuristics.
• Set up and optimize PPDS Master Data (resources, PDS, products, BOMs, master recipes).
• Configure and manage Master Recipes for process manufacturing.
• Implement and fine-tune scheduling boards to meet complex production constraints.
• Operational Support & Optimization
• Provide expertise on batch management throughout the production and planning cycle.
• Lead the configuration and operation of handling resources for process manufacturing including tanks and batch processing.
• Perform and optimize tank planning and capacity leveling in process-driven environments.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and optimize rescheduling and realignment scenarios in SAP PPDS.
• End-to-End Process Consulting
• Map and optimize business processes in liquid manufacturing, including material flow, tank utilization, and inventory management.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate functional requirements into PPDS system solutions.
• Mentor junior consultants and deliver training on SAP PPDS functionalities.
• Cross-Module & Advanced Solutions Exposure
• Integrate planning scenarios involving SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning), SAP OBP (Order-Based Planning), and RTI (Real-Time Integration) as needed (good to have).
• Liaise with third-party vendors, SAP, and business teams for solution enhancements and support.
